The Future of Digital Payments: Addressing Security Challenges Through Cryptography
A. Soni, et al.
Digital-payment rails are fast and convenient — and a much bigger attack surface, now including the looming quantum break. We propose a multi-layer crypto scaffold combining hybrid and post-quantum encryption, threshold (secret-sharing) signatures and live fraud detection — plus a mobile/NFC-friendly isogeny signature — delivering forward secrecy and quantum resistance at real transaction speed.
Digital money is everywhere, but moving finance online widens the attack surface — spoofing, DDoS, supply-chain compromise, and the looming quantum break. We advance a multi-modal cryptographic scaffold: hybrid encryption, post-quantum crypto, threshold signatures and adaptive fraud recognition, with a hybrid quantum-composition layer and an isogeny-based signature tuned for mobile/NFC — hitting forward secrecy and quantum immunity at transaction-wire throughput.
